Two Cores, Less Waiting

In a comment on a previous post, Kevin Purcell asked about the effect of the second CPU core on build performance. Here are the results.

MacBook Pro 1.83, 2GB, local build, 1 CPU 22:59
MacBook Pro 1.83, 2GB, local build, 2 CPU 13:42

Note that the 2-CPU timing is faster than the previous time for this machine; in the interim, it's been upgraded to 2GB (even 1.5 isn't enough once Xcode gets rolling), so the timings above should only be used to compare 1-CPU vs. 2-CPU performance.
